Lung herniation (LH) is a rare clinical entity involving the protrusion of lung outside the thoracic cage. It has a variety of etiologies and clinical presentations, making diagnosis difficult. We present a case of a 20-year-old male who reported pleuritic pain after falling from a skateboard. Evaluation through computed tomography (CT) scanning of the chest revealed an anterior lung hernia

Cervical herniation of the lung is a rare condition that results from congenital agenesis of Sibson Fascia. Occasionally, this may result from acquired causes like trauma. We report a rare case of a patient who was recently encountered in our Otorhinolaryngological Clinic and who posed an interesting problem of differential diagnosis. Asymptomatic lung hernias may be managed by close observation. In symptomatic cases, immediate reduction and closure of the defect are indicated to prevent incarceration and strangulation 3 . Although lung hernias are rare and usually benign in nature, it is important for physicians to be aware that these entities do exist so that they are not alarmed when they are encountered.

Computed tomography of the neck demonstrated an air-containing structure in the root of the right side of the neck, related to but separate from the anteromedial aspect of the right lung apex. The diagnosis of an Chest auscultatory finding was negative, no signs of dyspnoea or swallowing problems were detected.
